Commissioned Projects, Spacegoods Astro Dust Product Photography.

Long live Spacegoods! I’ve been working with Spacegood’s Matthew Kelly since the hero product ‘Rainbow Dust’ was yet to be unveiled to the world. A mutually beneficial and educational working relationship, Spacegoods is a Studio G ‘OG’. That kind of works, doesn’t it? Studi-O-G.

Having already shot Astro Dust’s older brother Rainbow Dust to within an inch of its life (see here), I needed to assess my approach. Whilst Astro Dust is a different product fundamentally, the product form and its base packaging matched Rainbow Dust very closely. To align these two products and overstep the gap in their releases, I shot content aligning with the Rainbow Dust, alongside some fresh new content to let Astro Dust get some light of its own.

There’s plenty of information around these days about the health benefits of various mushrooms, adaptogens, nootropics, etc. Instead of offering a description that won’t do the product justice, Spacegoods do a great deep-dive on the science here.

Spacegoods are a market leader, with a head start over their competition. But this early lead hasn’t created complacency; Spacegoods continues to develop new products to keep their committed customers happy. Personally, I’m thrilled to have consistently supplied eCommerce and social content to this brand since pre-launch.

I have other project pages for Spacegoods Rainbow Dust product, as well as their new gummy product: Spacegoods Moon & Star Chews!

How Much Does Product Photography Cost?

15x high quality product photography assets costs £1,199. This project falls under my Social Media Content Package, a budget-friendly monthly recurring photoshoot. This package is designed to be cost-effective, so the practical limitations on these projects are considerable. Nevertheless, they provide challenges to keep using my space, equipment and products as creatively as possible.

This product photography package strikes the balance between quality and quantity. Brands want constant supplies of fresh, engaging content. But, with content life spans shorter than ever, there needs to be a sustainable value to my services.

As always, my top tier printed vinyl backdrops come from Club Backdrops. Use that link to get your first backdrop free!
